GRAVES OF CRAVING

This is on my mind and I cannot get it out, so I created a little third grade level artistic masterpiece to display.  Somehow I missed the art gene, but it was cathartic coloring, cutting, and pasting.  In my reading through the Bible in one year program I came upon this verse in Numbers 11:34 " Therefore the place was named Kibroth Hattaavah, because there they buried the people who had craved other food."  Kibroth Hattaavah means GRAVES OF CRAVING.

I read that and thought about how I am craving myself into an early grave.  Two things I thought:
1.  Bury my cravings BEFORE they bury me.
2.  REST IN PEACE cravings.  I don't need them haunting me like a scary movie.

I got these new pretty babies last week.  I love them so far, and hope to wear them out this spring.  Starting tomorrow I am going to write down my exercise and post it with my weekly results.  Hopefully the white ankles aren't blinding the view of the shoes.

Tomorrow I will post my first week in March results.  I leave you with a link to a blog asking for prayer for a sweet little girl named Lucy.  Lucy is five today.  I do not know this family, but found her blog through a friend.  Lucy faces a battle no five year old should ever have to face, and I know Lucy and her family need all of our prayers!    http://erikandkatekrull.blogspot.com/

Lastly of course I cannot resist showing you the full size version of my masterpiece.  I am burying my cravings and I am not digging them back up!
